CAT LOSS BOSS / HOMEOWNER ALLIANCE

Privacy & paid referral notice

Effective October 3, 2026.

Information you choose to share

ZIP lookup sends the ZIP you enter to Zippopotam.us through our server to find approximate area coordinates. ZIP codes and coordinates are not included in our weather engagement analytics. When you use the weather center, the selected forecast coordinates are sent to the National Weather Service through our server. The optional radar loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap and radar tiles from NOAA. Do not enter an exact private address; city-center or approximate coordinates are sufficient. We collect the contact information, property location, loss details, company application details and optional document you submit. Basic source and campaign information helps us understand which pages bring useful requests. Please do not upload payment information, policy numbers, medical records or unrelated personal details.

How requests are used

Homeowner Alliance uses this information to review your request, contact you about it and evaluate provider suitability. With the permission in the intake form, we may sell an exclusive introduction to a selected independent provider. Commercial considerations, including the provider’s offer for an eligible introduction, may affect selection. The introduction is not a guarantee that the provider is best for your situation.

Private documents and project records

Uploads are stored with your request and accessed through authenticated reviewer controls. There is no public document directory or public contact-data auction. A selected provider may receive the project details needed for the introduction. Do not submit material you are not authorized to share. Records are retained as needed for project review, referral administration and legitimate business requirements.

Planning and analytics

The planner stores your project answers in your browser’s session storage so you can move between pages in the same session. It does not save contact fields there. Campaign tracking retains only the first landing pathname, external referring origin and bounded campaign tags for this browser session. Arbitrary URL queries are not retained. On catlossboss.com, Google Analytics measures page visits, planner progress, uploads and successful requests using cookies and device/browser information. We send page paths without URL query strings and do not send contact fields, project answers or uploaded documents to Google Analytics. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled. A successful homeowner submission is measured separately from a provider application. Analytics and basic event tracking respect supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.

Your choices

You may use the planner without submitting a request. To ask about a submitted record, withdrawal of future sharing or deletion, email contact@CatLossBoss.com and include your Cat Loss Boss request reference. Completed introductions cannot be undone; independent providers manage information they have already received under their own policies.
